It has a flat, dark espresso frame and the choice of two different colored mats. In addition to seeing photos, you can tune into RRS feeds that keep you up to date on news, weather and sports. You can also use the PanImage wireless digital photo frame as an alarm clock and wake up to great songs.
You can share photos, videos and slideshows with this digital frame. PanImage connects you with Windows Live FrameIt. This allows you to stream photos and RSS feeds on your digital frame. The RSS feeds include news from the world, weather reports for major U.S. cities, sports and MSNBC major headline stories.
You can connect with photo-sharing sites, up to two accounts per website per PanImage frame. This is better than the other frames we reviewed because with those products, you can only use one account per website per frame. Check with the manufacturer to determine which websites are currently available with the frame you want, since PanImage says the websites available could change without notice.
Rotate your photos so they face the right direction in your PanImage picture frame. You can only save the image orientation for images you have saved on the internal memory. If you want to see a portion of your picture up close, you can zoom in and then press the arrow keys to closely inspect the areas that aren't showing in the display. Should the coloring in the image be off in your PanImage frame, you can adjust the screen colors. The optimal image display option allows you to find the best fit for your pictures on the PanImage screen.
Read the news, see weather forecasts, check out the daily calendar, learn new recipes and find out sports information. There may be an additional fee to receive recipes on your PanImage digital frame, however. PanImage also has a clock and an alarm. It also allows you to play music and videos.
The PanImage picture frame comes with 1GB of internal storage. Its screen is LED backlit with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The frame dimensions are 18.2 x 16.2 x 6.2 inches. The screen is 10.4 inches. You can also choose from a 7- or 8-inch frame if you want something smaller. You can hang your PanImage frame on the wall or set it up on the stand. The only limitation is that you can only have the pictures display in landscape mode.
The only file types that are compatible with the PanImage digital picture frame are JPEG and AVI. This wireless digital picture frame has a six-in-one memory-card slot. The PanImage has a USB port and place for an SC, MMC, SDHC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, XD or CF cards.
